HCM is currently working with M. Sullivan & Son Ltd. on a project to the London Generation Station in Peterborough Ontario. Due to the contaminated soils an innovative shoring design and task rescheduling was required. HCM took on increased project scope, completing the shoring and the grout curtain concurrently to minimize project schedule impacts. As soils were held back by the shoring, the fractured rock was made impermeable by cementing the rock together, creating the grout curtain to enable a dry excavation.

HCM’s flexibility along with the support of RWH in-house engineering allowed for the project milestones to be met.
